Hexagon Coffee Cups
During Australia Energy Week in June 2022, Hexagon sponsored the coffee cart for the event, for which they needed a design to feature on the cups. The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist commissioned me to design something engaging and on-brand to represent Hexagon and their sustainability campaign.
Brief: My client requested a design that was simple and left emphasis on the text, logo, and QR code featured on the coffee cup. They welcomed the use of images or photos so long as it didn't look overcrowded. The design was to appear on two different sized cups and had to follow the dimensions of their printing vendor.

Design dimensions: 8oz at 82mm x 194mm, and 12oz at 101mm x 218mm

I decided to do three draft mockups to see which design avenue Hexagon wanted to go down including illustration, photo, and pattern. We ended up deciding on a sustainability illustration in Hexagon's branding colours, which was fun, engaging, yet kept simple and professional. It also translated well onto signs and banners for the event, as seen below.
